Joy builds the brain. Fear harms it. This Campaign is founded on the neuroscience proving a child’s brain requires joy, play and peace to form vital connections for learning, compassion, and the ability to contribute to civil society. Our national failure to provide each child what they need fails the child and fails America.
When families fail their children, their pain bleeds into our classrooms, communities, and courtrooms, fueling the pandemic social breakdown that now drains our economic recovery, and threatens your children's future to grow up in a civil society. Yet, we have no comment from those who govern us.
The Ground Zero of Social Injustice
On September 11, 2001, 2,753 adult victims were murdered by 19 barbaric Middle East terrorists.
Between 2001 to 2011, the light of 6,000 American citizens – ages 0 to 5 years – was snuffed out by their own parents.
Last Sunday we united as a nation to rightfully honor each 9/11 victim by name and raise our voices to declare “We will not live in fear.”
